Building A Bankroll - Long Term Poker Success

by Eric Lass

Bankroll management and how to build a bankroll is the most overlooked part of poker. There are millions of people playing online poker every day and in my opinion, I believe 99% of them are playing higher limits than may be practical. When you deposit money into an online poker room, you will see that the minimum deposit is $10-$20. If you deposit $20, do you know what levels you should be playing?

You will increase your chances of winning by spreading your risk across many tournaments or cash games. This is the basic strategy you must be willing to do.

If this sounds ridiculous to you, then perhaps you haven’t made any significant amount of money playing poker online. The reason for the 5% limit is that there will be times where you will go on losing streaks. A bad run of cards can really put your bankroll in a bind. This is especially true when you buy into tournaments with more than 5% of you bankroll.

Knowing A Reputable Casino

by Simon M Skinner

Finding an online casino is one of the easiest things you could do. Just type in the word ?casino? into the search engine of your choice and you?ll find hundreds of different online casinos, all vying for your business. While it?s tempting to just dive right in, you should stop and think about some things beforehand so you can make the right choice of online casino.

You?ll want to be careful when choosing an online casino. You want to deal with a casino which is operating above board and that you know you can trust. Before making a decision, you need to ask yourself these three questions:

‘What games do I want to play and what do I expect to get out of it’ ‘Which online casino can provide me with the games I want’ ‘Does the quality of graphics matter to me’ Will I be frustrated with slow play’ ‘Are there any particular deposit bonuses I’d like’
