When most people think of gambling, they think of going to Vegas. But today you can play online casino games from the comfort of your own home, office, or anywhere your laptop can travel. And the cool thing is, an online casino lets you play with imaginary money instead of cash, so you don’t have to risk losing the shirt off your back!
You don’t get a chance to practice with someone else’s free cash in Vegas. Everything there is learned the hard way-usually by losing. But online, you can play without any risk initially and then start betting real money if you want to later-or not, as you choose.
Just like in Vegas, there are lots of different casino games to choose from when you play online. You can play craps, the slots, blackjack, Texas hold’ em, and many other games-all from the comfort of your own chair. You have zero travel expenses and you can play whenever you want-at any time of day. And you can bet real money or just have fun and play with the casino’s play money.

Harness racing refers to a type of horse-racing where horses chase each other at a specified pace. They habitually drag two-wheeled carts that are called sulkies.
Harness racing was the most popular sport in the years before the Civil War. Since control of Thoroughbred racing was taken by the South, the Northern States tried to gain control, but a miserable reproduction market, a need for sturdy jockey clubs to adjust the sport and a deficiency of supporters who could place high-quality matches kept the sport low. By the 1850s, there were more viewers who watched racing than any other sport. Also there were seventy tracks nationally, seven of which were in the area of New York.

Recently I had a friend tell me about a poker tournament that he wanted to play in. He was excited that the starting stacks for each player was 10,000 chips. That was all he said so I asked him, What are the starting blinds? He just looked at me with confused look and said, I dont know, but we get to start with 10,000 chips!
Poker tournament players can often make this mistake. The problem is that there are no rules about what a starting stack should be and there are no rules regarding the starting blinds or even the blind structure. A poker tournament that starts with 10,000 chips may have starting blinds that are 25/50, which would make it very deep-stacked, or it could have starting blinds of 100/200, which is relatively short-stacked.

The rivalry between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens is the oldest and most bitter rivalry in the history of the National Hockey League, which has led to these teams being each other’s arch-rivals. From 1944 to 1978, the two teams met each other in the playoffs 12 times, and faced off in five Stanley Cup Finals. While the on-ice competition is fierce, the Leafs-Habs rivalry is actually symbolic of a much deeper cleavage in Canadian history and society ” that between English and French-Canadians. It’s the rivalry between Canada’s largest cities: Toronto, the largest and the heart of Anglo-Canada and Montreal, the second-largest and the heart of Franco-Canada.
When the NHL was created in 1917, these differences received the opportunity to play themselves out in a rivalry between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens. The Maple Leafs’ fan base consisted mainly of English-speaking Canadians of British descent; in fact, the team’s logo was in essence a stylized version of the Canadian Army’s Cap Badge Insignia during World War I, This held particular significance for Leaf owner Conn Smythe, who had served as an artillery officer during the Great War.
