Start With a Practice Account (Part II)

by Ahmad Hassam

Forex demo account is the ideal place to learn forex trading. You should understand from the get go that any action you take on a trading platform is basically your responsibility. You may have meant to click Sell but instead you clicked Buy. No one knows for sure except you.

First practice on your demo account instead of jumping into live trading! If you dont want to blow your account repeatedly, double your demo accounts three times in a row only then trade live.

When the prices are adjusting quickly like after a data release or break of a key technical level or price point, attempts to trade at the market can sometimes fail in very fast moving markets. You must know that part of this stems from the latency effect on the internet.

Why Orlando is Still the Team to Beat in the East

by Brian Kimball

While the Celtics and Cavs are both adamant about the fact that they’ll find themselves in the NBA finals next season, the Magic are still the team to beat. Having beaten both of those teams in the playoffs, the Orlando Magic are overlooked by the Celtics and Cavs, as they’re worrying more about each other than they are about Orlando.

Sure people are boasting about Shaq making LeBron an unstoppable phenom and Rasheed Wallace’s presence making Boston’s Big 3 + Rondo, A fab 5. But many sports writers and professional analysts are counting Orlando as an underdog. Again. Yep I said it,Again. Did Hedo Turkoglu and Courtney Lee really make Orlando a championship team?I think not. They were essential pieces to an almost perfect puzzle. This year’s team has better pieces that can make the puzzle complete. Let’s break down the off season’s moves for Orlando.

by Luis Scott-Vargas

Winning the Triple Crown is the most coveted spot in poker. And as of today, only two people got all the prestigious events in their hands. One lucky guy is Roland De Wolfe who just got his last leg of the crown when he won the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8 bracelet at the 2009 WSOP. Winning the Triple Crown means getting to triumph in 3 events and that would be from the World Poker Tour (WPT), European Poker Tour (EPT) and the World Series of Poker (WSOP). De Wolfe even wears a Union Jack track-suit on his final table during the event, showing that his proud to be an Englishman.

The first poker pro who won the Triple Crown was Gavin Griffin. He won in $3,000 Pot Limit Hold ‘Em in 2004 to gain his WSOP bracelet; he gained the EPT Grand Final Title in 2007 and he won the WPT Borgata Classic in 2008.

Trading can be challenging. Trading is not investing. It is speculating. Speculating is defined as assuming business risk in the hope of making a profit from market fluctuations. Successful speculating requires analyzing different market situations, predicting outcomes, and putting your money on the side of the trade on which you think the market is going to go up or down.

If you are a trader, you should appreciate the fact that if you apply the correct techniques for analyzing trades, manage your money and protect your trading account, you can be wrong 70 percent of the time and still be a successful trader. Michael Vick To Suit Up In Green Bay?

by Fernando Roman

The newest story in Green Bay involves the team’s willingness to sign Michael Vick, fresh out of jail and looking for a way back into the NFL. While I despise Vick as a person for his disgusting behavior of a few years ago, his talent may help the cause of this packers team. Let’s have a look at the pros and cons.

Pros. Michael Vick, in addition to playing quarterback, can also be featured as a wide receiver. The potential for creative plays is huge once two men on the field can capably throw the ball. Vick’s rushing abilities (reverse plays, etc.) can’t be discounted either in these situations.

Vick would obviously be a backup to Rodgers should he join the team, but a team never knows when its backup will be called upon. So many teams have seen their chances blown when their starting QB goes down with injury, and the prospect of Michael Vick as backup to Rodgers could somewhat shield the team should Rodgers be hurt.

Fantasy Football Steals and Busts at QB

by Richard Ferencz

Reading through some of the fantasy football threads on the Internet, I found that I really disagree with some people. Some QBs are getting a bad rap for the upcoming draft. I’m a strong believer in waiting to pick up your QB until late in the draft when they have the most value for the pick. If you don’t get one of the elite QBs in the second or third round you may as well wait and pick up another wide-out or running back with that pick. So that being said here is my list of QBs that you can wait long on to pick and bank on their value, and the guys you shouldn’t waste your early picks with.

Booms:

Kurt Warner- Despite the fact that Warner finished top 3 in both TDs and yards last season due to the most talented WR duo in football, many are writing off Warner’s year as an anomaly that won’t happen again. I, on the other hand, disagree, and urge anyone drafting to choose Warner should he still be there in the middle rounds.
