Have you experiencing bad poker? It started with a dead beat, then you steam, the you go an all the way tilt and then you lose your control! Boom you are steaming!
If you’re playing poker and you let your emotions get into you distracting your sense of logic then you are definitely steaming. A good poker player makes the right decision if he’s on his right behavior. It means he’s not angry or frustrated. Problems carried by poker players on the table can cause them to play tilt and it’s really frustrating. Here is an example of a person who plays a wild tilt.
He was kicked out on his job a few days ago, his wife had filed divorce papers and his finances are dwindling. Can he make good decisions or not?
Steaming can affect you, me and everyone else. Those who plays poker are very vulnerable with this kind of emotional problem. Steaming affects your decision process because you are playing based on your emotional aspect not all of her.
Once you start steaming, there is no way to stop you. It will only get worst. So the best thing to do is to go home and sleep. Do not waste time on a poker table if you are steaming. Here is an example on what will happen if you let your emotions control your decisions.
It all started with a good hand but you lose because of a dead beat play. You’re wondering why did that player got the pot because even you had a better one.. . And you keep on mumbling about it till the next hand. And then you got a poor hand this time. But you tried to make it big by betting big, without any assurance that you’re card will win. And you ended up losing again! You’re angry at yourself because you played a poor hand and you’re steaming for the guy who got the pot for the second time.
But that’s not where it ended. Matt played well after a number of hands. He thought that the other player had a streak of luck and that’s it. But then, another bad beat made Matt lose thousands of his chips. With this he started remember the first dead beat and the poor hand he played. The he doses of to think about his problems at home and at work… and it never stops..
After so many unlucky hands you will find yourself playing borrowed money, loaning your jewelries, and having another dead beat at work.
